is a small local charity that makes a huge difference to the lives of refugees and asylum seekers in Leeds.  They provide:

  • one to one befriending
  • one to one english at home tuition
  • support to refugee community associations
  • short stop volunteer hosting to support destitute asylum seekers and refugees

Job Centre Plus have a new programme which offers advice to carers who want to re-enter the workplace.  They are committed to ensuring carers have access to employment and help to combine paid work with their caring responsibilities.  They can also help carers to seek out further financial support to support carers in their working life.
