Equality and Diversity

Equality and Diversity - Better Together
Equality and Diversity - Better Together

Foreword from the Chief Executive

At East North East Homes we understand the importance of Equality and Diversity and recognise how important it is to our business. We recognise and reflect the diverse community we represent in our employment practices and policies. This helps us to understand the changing needs of our customers and reflect that in the way we do our business.

One of our main values is ‘Fair Access’ and our objective is to provide excellent service to all customers. This is why we will continue to work together with them, and with agencies and partners to develop and improve ways of encouraging understanding and acceptance of all the individuals that make Eat North East Home Leeds their first choice as a housing provider.

Steve Hunt, Chief Executive

‘We all want to live in a community that is fair to all. I am part of the community that East North East Homes Leeds represents and I am proud to be not only associated with the company but this new strategy. This new strategy builds upon the existing work that has taken place, it takes it that bit further to ensure we have a community we can all enjoy.’

Abdul Sesay, Diversity Board Champion
