The Outer East Area Panel have set priorities which they feel reflect the concerns of other tenants in their area.
The Area Panel work closely with Area Managers and Heads of Services to discuss these issues and even job shadow members of staff to try and improve the service East North East homes are delivering in Outer East Leeds.
The Area Panel have funding available for environmental / community improvements to Seacroft, Cross Gates, Halton Moor and Osmondthorpe (Wykebecks / Nevilles).
The funding can be used for improvements to an area which will be of benefit to the community through Estate Investment bids. The Partnership Development Officer will consult with the affected residents and work with closely with various agencies to ensure the work will have a positive effect on the area.
Completed schemes are then presented to the Area Panel for approval, rejection or referral (subject to further development).

Brooklands Avenue garage site
Brooklands Avenue old garage site was a large mass of overgrowth with continuous anti social behaviour activities which was causing a nuisance for local residents. The Outer East Area Panel approved the scheme for the area to be cleared
South Seacroft Hawkshead Crescent
Meadow Flowering Scheme cost £1,122.00 – Local children from East Leeds Academy and a resident came along on the day and helped with the planting of bulbs.

Brookland Towers Environmental Improvements – Garden furniture supplied & fitted for outdoor patio area cost £1,564.00, residents group received £250 funding from Proceeds of Crime (POCA).
