East North East Homes
East North East Homes is one of the Arms Length management Organisations set up by Leeds City Council to manage the council housing properties in the city. We are also responsible for managing the services which are provided to leaseholders in former Council flats and maisonettes. For example we manage the caretaking and cleaning services. We are also responsible for the repairs and maintenance of the blocks of flats and for undertaking improvement works.
Leeds City Council
The Council holds the freehold of flats and maisonettes sold under the Right to Buy. We work in partnership with the Council to provide a management service to leaseholders. We are responsible for the day to day management of the properties and the Council provides the financial service through the issue of the Service Charges, Notices and other statutory documents.
Leaseholders
A leaseholder is a person who has bought their flat or maisonette and has acquired the property under a lease. The freehold of the property remains with the landlord – Leeds City Council.
