When you report a repair to us we will tell you:
- Whether the repair is your responsibility or our responsibility and whether or not you must pay for it.
- Your repair order number so that you can easily enquire about the repair in future.
- A target date by when the repair will be completed or the appointment date if one is available (internal repairs only).
Whenever we raise a repair order you will automatically be sent a receipt through the post to confirm the order details.
If we are raising an emergency repair we will advise you that we can only raise the repair if you can guarantee that you will remain at home until the repair has been attended to.
Appointments
For most internal repairs and surveyors inspection visits we will offer you an appointment on a specific date to suit you. We are not able to guarantee specific times throughout the day however, if you need us to avoid visiting at specific times such as school pick up times, please tell us and we will make a note of this on the repair order.
Appointments are normally available Mondays to Friday:
- On a morning between the hours of 8:00am – 12:00 noon
- On an afternoon between 12:00 noon – 5:00pm
Where an appointment is not available or if the repair is to the outside of your home, we will give you a target date which is the date that the repair will be completed on or before.
Evening Appointments
For some smaller joinery, plumbing and electrical repairs, we offer evening appointments, Monday – Friday between the hours of 5:00pm – 8:00pm. These appointments are available to help tenants who are not able to be at home during normal working hours.
